It also contains articles on the history of North Bremen, the Jewish cemetery in Schwanewede, the destruction of the synagogue in Aumund and the culture of remembrance and remembrance in North Bremen. The biographical search for traces and the intentions that Gunter Demnig associates with his project are explained in introductory articles. A timeline, a selection of literature on the Nazi era and a glossary of key terms and content complete the range of information. The book includes a city map with circular routes for a personal search for traces of the stumbling blocks in Bremen-Nord. The respective biographical portraits can be found immediately in the book via a numbering system and enable the historical background and life story to be deduced on site.
