Annika Reich, *1973 in Munich, lives in Berlin. She is a writer and activist. Her novels and children's books are published by Suhrkamp, ​​Carl Hanser and Fischer Taschenbuch Verlag. Most recently, the novels "34 Meters above the Sea" (2012) and "The Nights on Your Side" (2015) as well as the children's book series "LOTTO" (2016/2018). She has also published numerous short stories in anthologies and magazines. Since 2013 she has been co-editor and columnist of 10nach8 at »Zeit Online«. In 2015 she co-founded the action alliance WIR MACHEN DAS and has since been part of the management team and artistic director of the award-winning literature portal for authors from crisis areas. She has taught cultural theory and creative writing at various universities and art academies, published numerous catalogs and cultural studies books and cultural studies essays in magazines and published anthologies.

Ramy Al-Asheq is a Syrian-Palestinian poet, journalist and curator. He has published five volumes of poetry in Arabic to date. His first volume of poetry in German, Memory Dogs, was published by Sujet Verlag in March 2019. His texts have been published in various anthologies and literary magazines in Bosnian, German, English, French, Kurdish, Polish and Spanish. Some of his poems have been translated into songs, performances and visual arts. His first book in English will be published by Seagull Books in early 2020. In 2014, Al-Asheq received a residency grant for the Heinrich Böll House in Langenbroich. A year later he was awarded a prize by the Al-Qattan Foundation in Ramallah. At the end of 2017 he launched the German-Arabic culture magazine FANN. He is also curator for the Literaturhaus Berlin and co-founder of the Arabic-German Literature Days Berlin. In 2018 he received a literature grant from the Academy of Arts in Berlin and two residency grants for the Lukas Artists' House (Ahrenshoop) and the Artists' Village in Schöppingen.
