Angelika Sinn: This Is How You Take Life with You

The eight authors of this anthology originally come from Syria, Chile, Venezuela, Iran, Turkey and Bangladesh, but they all now live in Germany.

For two years they took part in a writing workshop at the Bremer Literaturkontor. Her experiences with terror, violence, war and flight were also discussed at these meetings, but the focus of the literary work directed by Angelika Sinn was on the memories of the time before. The authors came to writing through storytelling, and they wrote their texts in German. The resulting poems and stories deal with childhood, family, friendship and love, with small incidents and big events, with the everyday and special aspects of every life.
