Gerrit Wustmann: robed in green (German-Persian)

green robed is the fifth volume of poetry by the Cologne poet Gerrit Wustmann; he takes the reader on a journey deep into the magnificent world of images of Persian poetry, makes reference to Rumi, Hafiz and Attar as well as to the Koran and Islamic mysticism; he sends Goethe and Hafiz for a walk and listens to Rilke's songs in the gardens of Shiraz - and verse after verse new west-east connections emerge. Another special feature of this volume of poetry: it is turned into the Persian version, with translations by Mahmoud Hosseini Zad.
