Born in Mecklenburg in 1952, Gunther Gerlach completed his studies in sculpture with Jan Koblasa in Kiel in 1975 and now lives in Bremen. His works, both sculptural and graphic, have already been exhibited in numerous exhibitions in galleries, museums and art associations in Germany and abroad. He has also been teaching at Bremen University since 1999.
being Sculpture Manuscript was published in 2017 by Sujet Verlag, in 2013 an artist monograph with the title was also published Sculpture and Space in Hirmer Verlag.
