Walid Taher is an Egyptian author, children's book designer, plastic artist and journalistic painter. He was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1969. More than 40 children's books have been published by Taher including: The Black Spot which won the Etisalat Award in its second edition.
He has already received several awards for his work. As part of a collaboration between him and the French publisher “Le port a jauni” he produced children's books in Arabic and French. Some of his books have been published in German, Korean and French.
In Inge Buck's new volume of poetry, the author takes us on her journeys to places of remembrance such as museums or cemeteries between 1980 and 2020 and shares her lyrical feelings and experiences with us.
