Bonbon, Zalamite and Bartolo, three retiree friends from North Africa, did not have an easy life. To be sure, culture shock, uprooting and exclusion from pleasures such as taking walks together were alleviated as they roamed between the "Home of Hope", where they lived, their favorite bistro, and the Gare du Nord train station, their favorite place in northern Paris. But the remaining time is now slipping through their fingers like Mediterranean sand. Then the eldest, Bonbon, decides to set off again and visit the family at home for the last time.
