Dorothee Calvillo
Biography
Dorothee Calvillo was born in Münster in 1968 and, in addition to the German Abitur, also completed French and Spanish school-leaving certificates. She studied Romance languages in Bochum and in Italy and worked as a specialist translator in German, Spanish and Italian from 1995-2012. She also completed a degree in literary translation in Düsseldorf.

Europe 1992. They meet in Villeneuve-le-Roi near Paris: Virgil, who fled Moldova in the underbody of a truck, Chanchal from Bangladesh and the Somali Assan, who is trying to save his daughter Iman from civil war and oppression.
