Michael Lehmann
Biography
Originally an architect and urban planner in Essen and Frankfurt am Main, Michael Lehmann has been a translator of English literature and a book publisher since 2002, both exclusively for projects of his own choosing. He lives with his wife and now without his four children in a village on the North Sea between Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven. In 2015, on the 10th anniversary of the death of the English writer John Fowles, he initiated the founding of the German John Fowles Society. In 2016 his translation of the book by David Scrase and Wolfgang Mieder (ed.), »Nothing could be worse than Auschwitz!«, Donat Verlag, was published.
