Recai Hallaç, born in 1962 and raised in Istanbul, is an actor, simultaneous interpreter and, in addition to scripts and plays, has translated several novels and stories from Turkish. Among other things, he worked as an editor, speaker and actor at WDR Funkhaus Europa and the Turkish editorial team of Deutsche Welle and played theater. He has lived in Berlin since 1990.
