Thomas Geldner

Biography

Thomas Geldner was born in Vienna in 1965. After studying history and German studies, he worked as a research assistant on several historical projects and did cultural work as a freelancer. Geldner has worked as a librarian at the Vienna Public Libraries since 2001. He is also the central editor for fiction, literary studies and English literature. Together with Gorji Marzban, he was responsible for setting up and looking after the Persian book collection and series of events The word freedom at the main library in Vienna. Last but not least, his texts appear again and again, mainly in magazines. Thomas Geldner currently lives and works in Vienna.
