Leila Nouri Naini was born in Tehran in 1970. She grew up in an artist's household and was enthusiastic about literature and painting from an early age. She studied translation and came to Germany in 1995, where she began translating German poetry into Persian. In 2010, her first volume of poetry “Khab‑e Pichak Haye Tanam” was published by Gardoon Verlag, Berlin.
Her own poems have been published in various online magazines.

In 2013, her poetry was published in an anthology of contemporary Persian-language love poetry.
The works of Leila Nouri Naini also found their way into another poetry collection called “Fire on the Tongue”, published in 2018.
