Falaki, welcher 1951 im Norden Persiens geboren wurde, studierte zunächst Chemie und Bibliothekswissenschaft im Iran. Während der Schah-Zeit wurde er wegen seiner politisch-literarischen Aktivitäten zu drei Jahren Haft verurteilt. Nach der Übernahme der Herrschaft durch die Mullahs musste er das Land verlassen. Gunther Gerlach – exhibition and reading

As part of the International Celebration of Contemporary Sculpture, an exhibition by the sculptor Gunther Gerlach will take place in the Marble Hall in Bremen on January 27th.
