The Else Lasker Student Prize 2024 goes to author Sarah Kiyanrad

On April 19, 2024, the Else Lasker Student Prizes were awarded in Wuppertal, including a sponsorship prize for the first time in 20 years. This year's poetry funding prize, worth €2,000, goes to the author Sarah Kiyanrad. Kiyanrad is a poet, translator and Iranian scholar and teaches Iranian cultural history in Munich.
