A horizon in front of us is the seventh volume of poetry by the poet and writer Amir Shaheen.

As in his previous volumes, Shaheen mostly sticks to reality and everyday events. In his very own lyrical tone, expressive, critical, sometimes provocative and with his special humor, he puts feelings and moods into words. Departures and farewells, days that pass by and are poorly used, the time that one never had or that still remains, transience, futility are once again the cornerstones of his poetic reflections. This time he also ventures insights into the private sphere and expresses personal feelings, such as saying goodbye to his late father.
