In his forthcoming volumeSonnenwind writes the Bremen poet Bernd Jaeger with a distancing (self-)irony about his everyday thoughts and prayers, with which he succeeds in making the readers laugh as well as make them think. In creative and political language, his poetry deals with life, faith and time. The book of poems is supplemented by the photo seriesWay to the Tree, in which the author photographs the path from his home to a beech tree, the tree of life.
