In Eckstein, Eckstein, Bernd Jaeger takes the reader into his world. In diary excerpts, he tells about his everyday life in the retirement home and opens up new perspectives on scheinbar banal situations. He reflects on the experience in a personal and honest way. His passion – daily meditation – is also a regular part of his story. The lyrics are partly incoherent, sometimes lyrical, but also narrative. His language is very direct and unembellished. He knows how to amaze the reader again and again.
