Rudolph Bauer's poems and drawings of love are mostly free translations of the English versions of famous verses by Indian poets and are entirely dedicated to lovers: their longing, their passion, their playful gestures, their doubts and fears. Poetically, the poems from ancient India link the great theme of love - even today - with the living events in nature and the recurring course of the seasons.
