The Bremerhaven writer Eberhard Pfleiderer does not see failure as defeat and failure, but as an opportunity that can set decisive impulses in people's lives - if they allow it.

In a total of 61 lyrical texts, Pfleiderer takes us into the world of failure, in which surprising and unusual points of view dominate. The biting, subtle, humorous and captivating in their brevity texts are congenially accompanied by 61 own acrylic and watercolor paintings. These are by no means illustrations: they tell their colorful view of things in quite idiosyncratic abstractions.
