Book premiere: How to take life with you

We are looking forward to the book premiere of “This is how you take life with you”, which is taking place as part of the “globale°” and in cooperation with the Bremer Literaturkontor.

The eight authors of this anthology originally come from Syria, Chile, Venezuela, Iran, Turkey and Bangladesh, but they all now live in Germany. They took part in a writing workshop at the Bremen Literaturkontor for two years. Their experiences with terror, violence, war and flight were also discussed at these meetings, but the focus of the literary work led by editor Angelika Sinn is on the memories of the time before. The resulting poems and stories are about childhood, family, friendship and love, about small incidents and big events, about the everyday and special aspects of every life.
