Book premiere “Waiting” – Eberhard Pfleiderer (Bremerhaven)

We spend a large part of our lives waiting. So it's high time to take a closer look at this topic!
Sandra Juras and Eberhard Pfleiderer do this in two ways: with photos and text.
The two of them tackled the exciting topic of WAITING together. The photographer Juras created suitable photos for Pfleiderer's texts; these photos are not an accessory to the texts, but communicate with them in a very idiosyncratic way. Photos are due December 18th. exhibited in the city library!
With unerring ease and a love of surprising twists and turns, Pfleiderer happily, impatiently or with an ironic smile engages in the strange state of waiting and comes to the conclusion: Waiting is not a void - it is life!
Jura's photographs examine the tension of waiting -
Joy, expectation, fear, uncertainty - as objective and abstract as we perceive our standstill in a moving world.
In the book premiere, the author presents his texts by looking for the photos in the exhibition and reading them there. In this way he can achieve a close connection between text and image. Juras also goes into detail about her photos in her vernissage. The event ends with wine in a conversation between the two actors and with the audience about waiting itself and their WARTEN project.
