Book launch: Lights Rising from Shadows

We are looking forward to the book launch of Gunther Gerlach's new book “Lights that rise from shadows”.

Gunther Gerlach sees his way of writing as an expressive sculptural writing process to uncover emotional worlds. A page of a book that is opened accidentally falls back. This invitation to read imponderably at the beginning of the book intensifies the reception of the individual text and gives the reader focused insights into the poems and prose texts.
Narration takes on lyrical forms, entire stories are compressed into poem form and increase to rhythmic emphasis. His linguistic universe is full of metaphors; sometimes the text breaks off, comes to a surprising end and leaves a feeling of déjà vu.
