Reading with Mahmood Falaki and Salem Khalfani

We look forward to the reading with Mahmood Falaki and Salem Khalfani in Frankfurt, which is being organized by the Iranischer Verein e.V. and the Kunstgesellschaft e.V.

In "Deadly Strangers" Falaki tells the story of Nima, a teacher from Hamburg who, after decades, sets out for his former homeland, Iran.
Khalfani's protagonist remembers how he once fell in love with his teacher in the fourth grade. Eventually he starts sending love letters to her old address in Tehran.
The two authors take a critical look at their country of origin, Iran.
