Reading with Nassir Djafari at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023

During the Frankfurt Book Fair on Thursday, Nassir Djafari will read from his book “Mahtab” at the Hessian Literature Council stand.
Nassir Djafari was born in Iran in 1952 and worked in various positions in German and international development cooperation.
"Mahtab” is Djafari’s second novel, published by Sujet Verlag.
The book tells the story of Mahtab and her family, who immigrated to Frankfurt from Iran in the 1950s. The reader accompanies them 10 years after their immigration as they try to build a life for themselves in the politically and socially turbulent times.
