Book signing with Suleman Taufiq

We are pleased to announce that Suleman Taufiq will be available for talks and autographs at our booth (Hall 5, Stand G303) at the Leipzig Book Fair.

"I don't live in two worlds, I am two worlds," says Taufiq.
Born and raised in Damascus in 1953, Taufiq moved to Germany in 1971, where he studied philosophy and comparative literature. He mainly publishes poetry, but also writes novels, short stories and essays, works as a translator and writes texts for television and radio. Taufiq received a number of prizes, including the Literature Prize of the City of Aachen in 1983.

His new collection of short stories "Josef's birthday" and the children's book he translated "I would love to be a concrete mixer" will be published at the book fair.
