Description

The new book of poems by the poet Inge Buck is about time: about the seasons and lifetime and the preservation of forgotten things in a poem. And it's about language: the language of nature and the language of books. In the German-Persian volume of poetry in the translation by Madjid Mohit, an arc is drawn between the cultures, between the Orient and the Occident, a dialogue develops between language areas and life stories, and the translatability of lyrical images, rhythms and metaphors is explored. And a dialogue develops between the media text and image, the poems by Inge Buck and the collages by Monica Schefold.
