Description
Bremen is worth seeing - even beyond its parlor, the market square. Bremen is a living organism: all people, all streets, all buildings play their part. In Bremen, German is spoken – and many other languages. The artist Heide Marie Voigt sets out to turn Bremen into an exhibition space for poems every year on World Poetry Day, each poem in a different native language - and each in German. The Bremen book Zwiesprache Lyrik presents the selection of texts for 32 poetry banners together with everyday views of the city, familiar, loved or endured by those who live and work there. Employees of the Senator for the Environment, Building, Transport and Europe contribute key data on each district that makes you think.
