Amir Shaheen Reading – EINSTELLSRAUM e.V. (Hamburg)

12.20.2018 a 18:00 - 20:00

It is with great pleasure that we would like to draw your attention to a reading by our author Amir Shaheen, which will take place on December 20, 2018 in Hamburg. The event is part of a special exhibition:

Blasted and smashed into countless points of quicksilver… *

Turn where, against, by what, for what?
Compaction next to it, turning over it, porous cushion in the subsoil.

Upon arrival in the EINSTELLSRAUM you will be able to see the following,
– groove for fragments with templates,
– far below an individual soft foam pillow
– Tightrope walk by those who are different
– Landscape formation with a porous wing
– Shadow talks and gutter for circuits

The space that surrounds us is the space that we enliven, pass on and feel. In this we turn to - and turn to - with hindsight and consideration less intention than forbearance.
Wax forms the possibility of a flexible housing, a porous cushion of letting in, connecting and allowing. Cutting patterns and intersections are unnecessary, also no overlapping. Spaces permeate each other in receiving and repelling. Vibrations cause reverberation, a sound that we feel, pass on, or flee.

During the reading, Amir Shaheen's poems from his works "Keine Wendemöglichkeit" and "Footnotes and Paper Bags" (Sujet Verlag, 2016) will be read.
