Reading: "I'm a foreigner and that's a good thing" - Mahmood Falaki

We are pleased to point out another reading by the author Mahmood Falaki from his book "I am a foreigner and that's a good thing too"!

On December 9, Falaki will present several short stories at the migration center in Hamburg, some funny, some disturbing, about how it feels to live as a "foreigner" in Germany.

Are there also Christians in Turkey?” In his pointed short stories and snapshots, Mahmood Falaki humorously outlines encounters between people from different cultures. With an ironically distanced look, he describes comical dialogues and misunderstandings that arise from the different perspectives of the protagonists and encourage reconsideration of entrenched perspectives and prejudices.
