Abbé, 62 years old, a successful Frankfurt businessman and cosmopolitan, sees himself as German. His Iranian roots are buried. Nassir Djafari, born in Iran in 1952, has lived in Germany since he was five years old. He studied economics in Frankfurt and worked in various positions in German and international development cooperation. Djafari has written numerous specialist articles and book chapters on the economic and political challenges in developing and emerging countries. One Week, One Life was his first novel.
