Tribute to Berzan Kejo

To honor the artist, author, filmmaker and game developer Berzan Kejo, whose death anniversary will be on January 12, 2024, Sujet-Verlag invites you to an event in its Text'n Art event room on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 6:30 p.m into Bornstrasse 18.
His novel “Ro Jin – Sun of Life”https://sujetverlag.de/buecher/ro-jin-sonne-des-lebens/ The second edition was published by Sujet Verlag in 2018. Berzan Kejo's prose and poetry in Kurdish and German, some of which have not yet been published, and videos in which he himself speaks are the focus of the evening. Some of his unpublished poems, which he had not yet translated into German, have now been translated by the linguist, translator and author Zaradachet Hajo. The texts will be read by the author Ronî Stêrk and Maria Kejo. Works from his artistic work can also be seen. In the diversity of his work, one thing was always important to Berzan Kejo: standing up for freedom and justice. The artist and author Gunther Gerlach will speak introductory words about Berzan Kejo. Host Madjid Mohit will moderate the event.
The exhibition of drawings, paintings, sculptures and reliefs runs until February 24th.
