IRANIAN EVENINGS (Bremen): Dramatic reading with Pedro Kadivar

Lecture performance by and with Pedro Kadivar
lifting of borders premiered in 2012 at the Odéon State Theater in Paris. A few fragments of the text were later found in Little Book of Migrations (Little Book of Migrations, Gallimard, 2015 / Sujet Verlag, 2017, for the German translation by Gernot Krämer). Through predominantly autobiographical moments, the lecture-performance deals with the topic of migration and develops a reflection on concepts such as borders, memory, love and return. Structured through videos, reading, music and drama, the performance offers a unique and personal examination of the subject of exile. The author, theater director and actor Pedro Kadivar presents the lecture-performance in German for the first time, alone on stage as in the French premiere.
