IRANIAN EVENINGS (Bremen): Opening with Mitra Gaast

The series of events Iranian evenings we start under the motto trips to literature with Mitra Gaast and her work “Because you will remember”.
The book is about Heddy, who came to Germany from Iran at the age of 18 and had to leave her entire past behind. But this also included her childhood sweetheart Amin. Decades later she returns and searches for her past.
The author Mitra Gaast also originally comes from Tehran. She studied mathematics in Germany and worked, among other things, in the private sector. She writes her novels and stories in two languages.
We are very happy about that Silke Harth, the Bremen migration and integration representative of the Senator for Social Affairs, Youth, Women, Integration and Sport, opened the series of events. We also serve Iranian snacks.
