This event is presented by the Kurdish Community of Stuttgart in cooperation with the Black Community Foundation Stuttgart and the StadtPalais-Museum for Stuttgart.

Invisible voices from the diaspora:

Two authors will present their literary works in a reading on February 23, 2024, which deal intensively with their lives in the diaspora.

They are Halim Youssef with his work “99 Scattered Pearls” and Moe Thet Han with his work “Cemetery of Words”.

The book reading will offer listeners a unique insight into the realities of the authors' lives, reflecting on their personal experiences, challenges and triumphs in the diaspora through their literary works.

The focus here is on life in Stuttgart and the different realities that exist side by side. The event will be rounded off with a panel discussion in which the audience is also warmly invited to ask the authors questions or talk about their experiences.

This event is presented by the Kurdish Community of Stuttgart in cooperation with the Black Community Foundation Stuttgart and the StadtPalais-Museum for Stuttgart.
