Reading with Bernd Jaeger “Solar Wind & way to the tree”

Do you already have “Solar wind & way to the tree”? No? Well then it's high time, because on October 27th, 2022 Bernd Jaeger will give a reading in the art salon of the Leuwer bookstore.
Bernd Jaeger was born in Kiel in 1948 and has lived in Bremen since 1977. In 1980 he received the Bremen Senate Prize for Literature. In 2006 he published his trilogy Meister Mensch, a collection of poems, cycles and lyrical prose. His work “Solar Wind & Weg zum Baum” the poet writes with a distancing (self-) irony about his everyday thoughts and prayers, with which he succeeds in making the reader laugh as well as make them think. In creative and political language, his poetry deals with life, faith and time. The book of poems is supplemented by the photo series path to the tree, in which the author photographically accompanies the path from his home to a beech tree, the tree of life.
The reading will begin at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free. We look forward to you!
