The FREE SPACE e.V. invites you to a reading Suleman Taufiq and Amir Shaheen in Cologne.
Suleman Taufiq, who immigrated to Germany from Syria in 1971, and Amir Shaheen, also with a migration background, but born and raised in North Rhine-Westphalia, present their latest books with wit and charm Joseph's birthday and I'm not a foreigner, that's just my name in front. Both were created independently of each other and published by Sujet Verlag. Although the books report on comparable experiences and topics, they do so from completely different perspectives. Suleman Taufiq and Amir Shaheen will read from their books and then talk to Wolfgang Schiffer about their experiences as Germans with Arabic roots.
