Bilingual reading - poetry and music with Inge Buck and Madjid Mohit

Villa Sponte is hosting a reading of Inge Buck's recently published book of poems “Nachtwind”. This is a bilingual reading – Persian and German in a West-Eastern dialogue. The reading is by Inge Buck and Madjid Mohit. In addition, the reading will be musicalh accompanied by guitar and vocals by Madjid Mohit.

Autumn and yet no autumn at the end of a summer: poems about the rhythm of the seasons and their imperceptible loss. The poems are congenially accompanied by cartoons by Lothar Bührmann.

Inge Buck grew up in southern Germany. She studied psychology in Tübingen and journalism, literature and theater studies in Munich and Vienna. After completing her doctorate, she worked as an editor in the radio play department of Deutschlandfunk Cologne. She worked as a cultural scientist at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences. She writes poetry and short prose, radio features and audio pictures, she has edited biographies and anthologies and published several volumes of poetry. She lives and works as an author in Bremen. In 2003 she received the Robert Geissendörfer Prize.
