House of the Bremen Citizenship, Bremen 20 years of stumbling blocks in Bremen Against forgetting - an art and remembrance project 6:00 p.m. (admission from 5:30 p.m.) In September 2003, the Cologne artist Gunter Demnig presented his stumbling block project in Bremen, and the following year it was adopted here. Since then, almost 800 stumbling blocks have been laid on our city's sidewalks. In total, there are currently over 100,000 memorial stones in Europe.
