Description
Sara Ehsan's collection of poems is a mixture of melancholic-dreamy, but also sad-dark and linguistically playful poems. These poems tell of the past, of memories, but also of love, death and the situation in society. But Sara Ehsan's poems are by no means uncritical. The criticism is directed against the closed society. The lyrical self is left out in the constant search for the magic formula that finally allows access, so that one can become part of this society and not only have to remain a marginal figure. Behind the façade of the beautiful words there are often tragic stories that pull the reader along and make them think.
