Poetry in memory and in the present

Poetry reading with discussion (bilingual: German/Arabic)

We are very pleased to announce that, in cooperation with the organizers of the Funun Festival, a poetry reading by the authors Widad Nabi and Ramy Al-Asheq, who have already been discussed in public several times, will take place on August 29th. The two Syrian authors devote lines of visually stunning beauty to themes such as loss, flight, war and again and again, albeit in different ways, primarily to what moves people deep down. The authors will read from their most recent publications this year at Sujet Verlag:
“Just before thirty…kiss me” and "memory dogs”.
