Strolling festival “Literature in the City” in Wuppertal with Halim Youssef

The renowned literature festival “Literature in the City” invites all literature and culture enthusiasts to Johannes-Rau-Platz in Wuppertal-Barmen on September 30, 2023. Subject author Halim Youssef is also there.
Halim Youssef is a Kurdish writer, born in Syria and has lived in Germany since 2000. He has many books, six of which are novels. To date, his works have been published in Kurdish, Arabic, Turkish, Persian, English and German.
He will read from his new novel "99 Scattered Pearls", which is about Azado's dramatic life story, illustrated with the picture "99 Scattered Pearls". The narrator describes the fate of the refugees in the reception centers in 2015.
