Iranian women – reading and conversation with Nassir Djafari

On September 27th, Nassir Djafari is coming to Wetzlar as part of the Intercultural Week to read from his book “Mahtab”.

Nassir Djafari, born in Iran in 1952, has lived in Germany since he was five years old. He studied economics in Frankfurt and worked in various positions in German and international development cooperation. Djafari has written numerous specialist articles and book chapters on the economic and political challenges in developing and emerging countries.

In “Mahtab” he tells the story of a woman who has to find her way between modernity and her tradition.

The reading is organized by the refugee aid Mittelhessen e.V..
