Reading with Salem Khalfani in Frankfurt

In „flying cats” reports Salem Khalfani about a six-story building in a German city. The characters are closely intertwined despite their coincidental connections. Ms. Habel cannot detach herself from the memory of her lost cat. She has been looking for her continuously for many years and accuses Josef Bahden of hiding her cat. Did he really hide them? He also seems to be very preoccupied with thoughts of Mrs. Habel and her cat. In reality, however, he is more concerned with literature, which, instead of being a salvation for him, drives him more and more into confusion. In the end, however, only the narrator can save himself from his Babylonian tower, because he gives everything that happened a context by telling about it and at the same time finding out what actually happened to the cat.
