As part of the official "Nationwide Reading Day". Jabbar Abdullah am 11/17/21 at 7:30 p.m im FRÖBEL Nursery Smart from his book Raqqa am Rhein read and answer some questions in a subsequent discussion.
Jabbar Abdullah is an archaeologist, author and curator from Syria. At the end of 2012, at the age of 24, he had to flee from Raqqa to Alexandria (Egypt). There he studied for a master's degree and came to Cologne in 2014, where he has lived ever since. In addition to his work at the Romano-Germanic Museum, he is very active in the Syrian-German cultural scene. He curates art exhibitions and literary festivals and is committed to cultural exchange and successful integration. In addition to numerous campaigns that he initiated, he is also co-founder and second chairman of the association 17_3_17, which aims to promote the exchange of German and Syrian culture.
