Then comes the search for a place to live. Then a room, a small table, a lamp, a pen, a notebook. Some books. Half in English, half in your native language. But then, very slowly, it starts. You realize that despite your smallness, you carry a big story within you. One memory chases the other. Suddenly you realize that this existence sitting here is an empty vessel and that everything that makes you lives somewhere else.”
