Bilingual reading on night wind

Inge Buck and Madjid Mohit will read from "Nachtwind" in German and Persian.

Autumn and yet no autumn at the end of a summer: poems about the rhythm of the seasons and their imperceptible loss. With Hölderlin on the banks of the Neckar and Maria Theresa in the baroque garden in Vienna: poems about places and cities where the past and the present meet, where history becomes tangible. Poems about the horrors of the present, which thwart and disturb everyday life while the night wind sweeps around the house. And again and again the unstoppable passage of time is the theme of the poems: evening comes and morning comes again, while the news of death does not stop the clocks. The talk is undeterred of the beauty of the earth, of hidden root systems, moving clouds, bird calls, of moments of perception and recognition.
