Amir Shaheen reads at the Literaturhaus Cologne. Also there are Petra Reategui, Agnieszka Lessmann, Dorothea Renckhoff and Margit Hähner. They are all members of PEN Germany, and the texts that will be presented that evening are just as colorful and diverse as they are. It will be exciting, mysterious, lyrical and of course also cheerful and satirical. Admission is free.

Organisiert von der Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker (GfbV), findet am sechsten Dezember, in Göttingen, eine Lesung mit Halim Youssef statt, der aus seinem neuen Roman "99 zerstreute Perlen" vorliest. In seinem jüngsten Werk präsentiert Youssef die Lebensgeschichte eines syrischen Übersetzers, Azado, der in den gelebten Erfahrungen der Flüchtlinge, mit denen er arbeitet, einen Spiegel seiner eigenen Vergangenheit erkennt.
